Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned that its forces are 'lying in wait' if President Donald Trump resumes combat operations. Iran accused the U.S. of a 'grave violation' of the fragile ceasefire after U.S. defensive strikes in southern Iran and near the Strait of Hormuz. Trump stated that Iran is 'negotiating on fumes' and that their economy is in 'free fall.' He also mentioned that negotiations are going 'pretty well,' but military options remain on the table if diplomacy fails. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the next few hours and days are critical for peace and denuclearization talks with Iran.
