President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating has fallen to 36.5%, setting another record low. According to the survey, positive evaluations stand at 36.5%, while negative evaluations have reached 62.0%, the lowest figure recorded since the agency began its surveys. In the previous survey, the positive rating was 43.3%, but it has decreased by 6.8 percentage points in just one week.
Looking at the details, the response of 'very well' was 21.9%, 'fairly well' was 14.6%, 'fairly poorly' was 14.3%, and 'very poorly' was 47.7%. Notably, the negative evaluation among those in their 30s was the highest at 70.7%, and negative assessments exceeded half in all age groups. The highest positive evaluation was found among those in their 40s at 41.4%.
Regionally, the negative evaluation was highest in Daegu and Gyeongbuk at 74.2%, while Seoul recorded 62.0%. In contrast, the Honam and Jeju regions showed a positive evaluation of 53.2%, surpassing negative evaluations. These results indicate a continued decline in the president's approval rating, as two recent surveys have shown ratings in the 30% range.
