Burger King and BK Group, which operates Tim Hortons, are launching the '2026 Burger King Growth Support Program' for youth preparing for independence. This program is designed to help these young individuals enter society and achieve economic independence. Participants will enhance their practical skills by performing customer service and store operations at Burger King locations, while also increasing their understanding of the food franchise industry.
Youth participating in the program will engage in various training programs, including food safety and hygiene education, as well as on-site manager mentoring. Those who work diligently will be given the opportunity to challenge for store leader positions, supporting their continuous career growth. The target participants are youth preparing for independence who can work more than 25 hours a week, with a participation period of three months after joining.
Applications can be submitted until September 4 on the BKR recruitment website, and the recruitment announcement can be found on the BKR recruitment site, the National Child Rights Protection Agency's Independence Information ON, and the channels of national independence support agencies. A BK Group representative emphasized that "what youth preparing for independence need as they take their first steps into society are sustainable growth opportunities and support," and stated that they will continue to provide support through various ESG campaigns.
